How do I pay, and what does the charge look like?
By card. Checkout runs on Stripe, so Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link all work, and the card details are entered on Stripe’s own page rather than ours. Prices are in US dollars. The charge appears on your statement under Outline Technologies LLC, the company behind Vid2Shorts, usually shortened to OUTLINE TECH, sometimes alongside the processor’s own name because Stripe is the merchant of record. If you ever do not recognise a charge, email us before disputing it and we will find it the same day.
What is the Day Pass and does it renew?
It is 24 hours of Pro for one payment of $6.99, and it never renews. Nothing is stored to charge again and there is nothing to cancel. It removes the watermark, the 30 second cap and the daily limit for a day, which is the shape of a release day or a batch of beats. It sits below Pro on volume: 12 exports and 5 Auto Clips runs across the 24 hours, 8 clips a run, and sources up to 45 minutes rather than two hours. It is card only, because $6.99 is below the minimum a cryptocurrency network will move.
Does a subscription renew on its own?
Yes, at the same price, monthly or annually depending on the plan you picked, until you cancel. Cancelling is one click in your dashboard, it stops the next charge, and it leaves the time you already paid for alone. Founder is a single payment and never renews at all.
What exactly does the Founder plan get me?
Pro, permanently, for one payment of $299. No renewal date, no invoice next year, and no price rise later. Every feature added to Pro after you buy is included. Founder is capped at 100 accounts in total and closes for good once they are gone.
Is Founder actually better value than the annual plan?
It depends entirely on how long you stay. Founder at $299 is roughly what twelve months of the monthly plan costs, and about a year and eight months of the annual plan. If you know you will be making Shorts for years, it is the cheaper answer by a wide margin. If you are not sure yet, start monthly. We would rather you worked that out before paying than after.
What does lifetime mean if the site shuts down one day?
It means for the life of the product, and we would rather say that plainly than hide it in the terms. The engine underneath Vid2Shorts has been live and paid for since 2025, so it is not a weekend project that disappears. But no honest person can promise you forever, and anyone who does is selling you something. If we ever had to close, Founders would be told first and treated first.
Will I lose my Shorts if I cancel?
No. Files you downloaded are already yours, and your account simply goes back to the Free plan limits.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. Any purchase is fully refundable within three days as long as no Shorts have been rendered on it, Founder included. Once you have used the plan the compute has been spent and we cannot take it back. If something we made came out broken, that is our problem and the three days do not apply.
